eResidency Sole Proprietorship for freelancers
Francisco García Rodríguez
Most articles about eResidency target people interested in building a Limited Company, however I wonder what happens with people who instead just lead a freelancing activity.
As far as I know, countries require registering as a freelancer, mostly to get a tax number for their bills and separate their activity from their private tax declaration. In some cases I've seen freelancers who had to register a Sole Proprietorship
Although the Sole Proprietorship does not grant many legal protections, I've seen it used by some freelancers. I wonder if people are using such legal form to work as freelancers in other EU countries and/or if there is a point when the local country would require the freelancer to register locally.
